Public Relations Strategy

Earned media is my specialty.

I believe earned media will continue to play a greater role in the marketing mix because there’s so much noise in the media universe that it makes it hard to get consumers’ attention. Earned media is just one part of public relations strategy as a whole. 

The way earned media works is that I create press releases, social media posts, blogs, and other pieces of content for my clients. The goal is to successfully generate buzz and attain “free” media coverage. The way I do this is to consistently and strategically pursue opportunities with media sources and influencers by “pitching” story ideas to them.  The end result is media coverage in news outlets, social media mentions, influencer shoutouts, podcast appearances and customer reviews on Google My Business, Facebook, Yelp and other platforms.
