A Lifelong Love for Travel
Ever since I caught the travel bug at the age of nine, I’ve been buzzing around the world, finding joy in the journey. This passion for exploration led me to become a travel blogger and content creator, where I thrive in the creative realm, dreaming up content to share my adventures. Whether you’re seeking inspiration or insider tips, my goal is to provide a wealth of information to help you plan your next great adventure.
A Deep Connection to
Community and Alma Mater
My journey is deeply rooted in Statesboro where I was born, and my alma mater, Georgia Southern University. My education there brought me everything, and giving back has been one of the high points of my life.
I’ve had the privilege of serving the university as an adjunct professor, mentor, and PRSSA professional adviser. My passion for helping students has led to internships, jobs, and freelance opportunities. To further support their education, I proudly established the Jenny Lynn Anderson Communication Arts Scholarship.
One of my proudest moments was becoming the first chairwoman in the university’s history to raise $1.4 million for the “A Day for Southern” fundraising event. My commitment to my alma mater remains a core part of who I am.
A Message of Hope and
Restoration
Beyond my work in marketing and my love for travel, I am an author and an advocate. In 2011, I published my memoir Room 939: 15 Minutes of Horror, 20 Years of Healing. As a sexual assault survivor, I use my voice to speak passionately about recovery, navigating life after trauma, and finding peace.
For the last 12 years, I have been on the national speaker circuit, sharing my story with diverse audiences. My message of hope and restoration has been broadcast nationally in outlets like The Washington Post, on podcasts, TV, and radio. It’s a journey of healing, and it’s an honor to share it.
